Terry Gerhart - Chief Executive Officer

Terry is a co-founder of Delta Midstream and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He has over 35 years of oil and gas industry experience including designing, constructing, and operating midstream facilities onshore and offshore United States and around the world.

Prior to Delta Midstream, Terry was the Chief Executive Officer of Noble Midstream Partners and was part of the team that took NBLX public in 2016. He previously served as Noble Energy’s Senior Vice President of Global Operations Services that encompassed worldwide major projects, drilling, supply chain, operations excellence, engineering development, and corporate aviation. He also previously served as Vice President of Noble’s Africa Business, Vice President of the Eastern Mediterranean Business, and Vice President of Global Gas Monetization.

Prior to Noble, he worked for an international oil and gas exploration start-up company, held executive roles in several of BP’s onshore North America businesses, was part of the team that took Vastar Resources public, and held several engineering, operations, and management positions at ARCO Oil
and Gas Company.

Terry has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.

John Nicholson - Chief Operating Officer

John is a co-founder of Delta Midstream and serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Delta Midstream, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Noble Midstream Partners and was part of the team that took NBLX public in 2016.

John was responsible for Noble Midstream’s engineering and operations organizations and oversaw an organic investment program of $1.4 billion. He previously served in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility at Noble Energy, including significant major project experience in Noble’s conventional offshore and exploration programs.

John holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering and Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

John F. Bookout IV - Chief Financial Officer

John is a co-founder of Delta Midstream and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Delta Midstream, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Noble Midstream Partners and led the structuring efforts of the business leading up to the initial public offering in 2016.

John was responsible for Noble Midstream’s accounting, finance, FP&A, strategic planning, treasury, and corporate & business development functions, including transactions in excess of $1.5 billion net to the Partnership. Prior to Noble Midstream, John was responsible for Noble Energy’s midstream finance and corporate development efforts.

Prior to Noble, John was an associate at Global Infrastructure Partners focused largely on their energy infrastructure investments.

John holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance from Tulane University.

Matt Slatnick - Senior Vice President

Matt is a co-founder of Delta Midstream and serves as a Senior Vice President.  Prior to Delta Midstream, he served as Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Noble Midstream and was responsible for the build-out of the Partnership’s M&A and business development functions, which grew the business from a single customer to in excess of thirty customers in its initial three years.

Prior to Noble Midstream, Matt worked in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley in Houston where he advised oil and gas clients on M&A and capital markets transactions. Preceding Morgan Stanley, he held various roles in finance at ExxonMobil.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Nick Alfermann - Senior Vice President

Nick is a co-founder of Delta Midstream and serves as a Senior Vice President. Prior to Delta Midstream, Nick was a senior member of the energy investment banking practice at Baird where he advised on over $10 billion of M&A and capital markets transactions, primarily in the midstream sector.

In addition to his investment banking experience, Nick also spent several years at Highland Capital Management, a multi-strategy institutional investment firm where he managed a portfolio of energy-focused investments across the capital structure and value chain.

Nick holds a degree in Finance & Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
